God wants to bring us to the point where we can sing song of songs for Him. God loves us to the point where He has written songs of songs for us. So, it is not actually Solomon that was writing but the Holy Spirit writing to us. Solomon represents our Lord Jesus Christ and the woman represents you and me. So, as you read this book, what is being expanded is not a romantic carnal affair but a journey of love between Christ and the believer.
