Spirit filled life

The scripture makes it broadly clear that every child of God (especially if you are a spirit filled child of God) is a power house- you are a power house. Answers to prayers in connected to the power of God working. There is a power you carry, resident within you. Until you pray that power can not come out. It is amazing that what God does in answers to our prayers is to release the power within us. This is God power at work within us. There is a difference between power resident and power at work. Most times the energy released is not the energy that is at work. You posses power but it is your prayer life that determines the power that will be activated. A man with a zero-prayer life will have zero power at work, even though he has power resident in him. Little prayer equal power little at work. Power is infinitely resident within you (James 5:16, Eph. 1:19). Much prayer equal power available; tremendous prayer equal tremendous power available. Power is activated through prayer. How much you pray determines how much power you will produce.
*What forms of power can be released through Prayer?*
1. *1. The power of the anointing of the Holy Ghost.*

2. *2. The power in the blood of Jesus.*

3. *3. The power in the name of Jesus.*

4. *4. The power in the word of God.*

5. *5. The power in our recreated spirit.*

When you use your tongue in prayer, it has power to produce life and death (Proverbs 18:21). Your tongue is a trigger for the power that you carry. James 3:1-10, talks about how people pervert the power of the tongue and get ruined. The easiest way to tame the tongue is to use it to pray. Our tongue is given to us for prayer and for worship.

Your tongue is your trigger, if you use it in prayer, you will release the power of God inside of you. If you us it for jesting, you will destroy your destiny with your mouth.

*Points to note:*

1. You are a power house.

2. The power resident in you is immeasurable, it is infinite.

3. It is the degree of intensity in your prayers determines the volume of this power that will flow out.

4. No prayer will produce no power. Little prayer will produce little power. Tremendous prayer will produce tremendous power.

5. No degree of prayer can finish all the power within.

*PRAYER POINTS:*

1. Father, I am grateful for the insight you have given me today.

2. Father thank you for revealing to me that your power is infinite and unmeasurable working within me.

3. Lord thank you for showing the connection between prayer and the power of God at work in me.

4. Lord, this morning I receive the energy to push out the power in my life through prayers.
